16 HARI ANTI KEKERASAN TERHADAP PEREMPUAN

TERNYATA, awareness kita terhadap 16 hari ini penting loh

Jadi tadi sore, gue abis ketemuan sama Program Officer nya YSIK (Yayasan Sosial Indonesia untuk Kemanusiaan). Si Ibu ini, berencana untuk campaign diselang waktu 16 hari anti kekerasan itu kepada kampus-kampus yang punya organisasi. Tadi ada 3 orang dari UNISMA Bekasi, 2 orang dari PARAMADINA, dan gue. Kampus2 lainnya lagi, sesi sm Ibu ini ya beda hari dan waktu saja.

WHAT? Kampanye 16 Hari Anti Kekerasan terhadap Perempuan (16 Days of Activism Against Gender Violence) merupakan kampanye internasional untuk mendorong upaya-upaya penghapusan kekerasan terhadap perempuan di seluruh dunia

WHO? Komisi Nasional Anti Kekerasan terhadap Perempuan yang didirikan berdasarkan keputusan Presiden Nomor 181 Tahun 1998, bekerja sama dengan YSIK yang didirikan pada tahun 1995 oleh (Alm.) Fauzi Abdullah, Wilarsa Budiharga dan Zumrotin K. Susilo dan juga KITA SEMUA

WHEN? Dalam rentang 16 hari (25 November – 10 Desember), para aktivis HAM perempuan mempunyai waktu yang cukup guna membangun strategi pengorganisiran agenda bersama.

WHY? 25 November : Hari Internasional untuk Penghapusan Kekerasan terhadap Perempuan

1 Desember : Hari AIDS Sedunia

2 Desember : Hari Internasional untuk Penghapusan Perbudakan

3 Desember : Hari Internasional bagi Penyandang Cacat

5 Desember : Hari Internasional bagi Sukarelawan

6 Desember : Hari Tidak Ada Toleransi bagi Kekerasan terhadap Perempuan

10 Desember : Hari HAM Internasional

HOW? kampanye, kumpulkan dana, dan sadarkan masyarakat sekitar, khususnya yg muda seperti kita

It’s truly amazing that this era managed to produce such high detail and astonishing motion pictures. We have come a loooong way since the television was still in black and white.

But I’m posting this, bukan untuk menceritakan riwayat serta kemajuan teknologi perfilman tapi untuk fokus ke penguinnya itu sendiri. Referring to the title, sadar tidak kalau penguin selama ini memberi contoh yang baik untuk sebuah keluarga?

So here, penguin itu “When the female lays her one egg she incubates it for a few hours to a day and then transfers the egg to the male. The female then leaves to feed for the approximately two months it takes the egg to hatch. The male incubates the egg alone.” Jadi si Bini ninggalin suaminya tuh sama calon anak. Belum lagi si suami harus tahan, since “The male must stand for the entire two months and contend with the 30 below temperatures and the 40 mph and stronger winds.  The males don’t get anything to eat during this two months because they can’t go hunting at sea with an egg on their feet. Siklusnya ya seperti itu..

Mau punya suami seperti si Bapak Penguin dong :p hihihi

Cuma yang gue tangkep dari kisah penguin ini yaa.. heemm ada big trust yg dikasih kepada Bini penguinnya. Dan saking sayangnya sama calon anak dan si Bini itu, si Bapak penguin SUPER SETIA nungguin karena udah committed. Jadi dalam hubungan, yang dibutuhkan itu trust ,loyalty and commitment hehe. Gini aja deh, kalau si penguin ga kayak gitu.. ga mungkin si anak penguin bisa menetas. Ga bakal ada happy family gitu. Penguin aja bisa, kenapa manusia ga? Toh akal kita jauuh lebih pintar dari mereka. Therefore menurut gue, those cuddly penguins were made for besides to balance the ecosystem us, HUMANS. To teach those values.

So, hello

I’ve just read another blog and somehow it inspired me.

You see, lately… GUE SANGAT LABIL

Ngerti kan gimana  umur-umurnya mau turning 19 tahun (in 2 months). Dan selama ini sudah melihat semua , well hampir semua sisi pergaulan. I constantly changed, dari jaman SD (dari SD pertama sampe ke-lima) terus SMP, SMA khususnya dan akhirnya kuliah. Banyak orang komentar, judge who I was and most friends come and go.

I cannot even categorize myself, I’m unsure of who I am and how the heck am I supposed to blog anything bout me? Terlalu ga konsisten ya ga sih? tema diganti-ganti lah *sigh

I am sure ga cuma gue doang kok yg ngalamin ini (hayooo jujur yaa), maksudnya gini deh… Pasti pernah kan salah pilih teman, mencoba mengikuti trend, pengen fit disini-disitu, kenal sana-sini, diterima dimana saja hahaha dari gaya berpakaian, bicara, and even write blogs.

Lihat aja postings gue yg sebelumnya, full english serasa bule gitu :p tapi yaaa i realised it wasn’t neccessary. Tapi ya campur-campur ga ada salahnya.

Oh yeah and balik ke kalimat awal, blog yg telah menginspirasi gue itu ya somehow… walau ga ada posting khusus buat gue, it made me realised. I DONT NEED TO CHANGE. I just had to be me. Terserah orang mau pikir apa but i know, I used to be comfortable with who I was. So that’s whom I’m going to be. By the way, thank you yaa… you were very close to me and u may not realise that u managed to make me fall in love with myself all over again.

So readers, the next postings will be pure ALA-gue

This is the group 8 get-together..

There’s me, Manda, Olive, Andin, Widya and at the back is Melissa.

It was just a common hang out at PIM2 During the fasting month.. And there were more people with us but sadly they’re not in the pics. Hahaha

We broke our fast in Food Court, and I ATE A LOT. That was the first time my friends know that I LOVE EATING. YUUM YUM YUUMMM SLURP!

I ordered ketoprak, nasi goreng ayam, aqua botol and teh tarik. 2 portions, LOL LOL and i finished them all

I wonder why my body ain’t growing, haha..

We then when to spazzio to get some shish, the price we were told was 150 000. But when we finished, it was in fact 200 000. HUH WHAT A RIP OFF. The waitresses lied

But the good thing was we had fun!!! Girls just wanna have fun

The first week was quite impressive

First orientation week

This are my group mates, back in orientation week. The only person I had with me from the past was Via

She was my classmate in the first primary school and my schoolmate in junior high school. Fortunately, we go to the same school AGAIN! haha. Though she’s taking PR and I’m taking Biomed Eng, we keep in touch

So in grouo 8, i hung out with Via of course. Met a new friend called Manda “Alamand Meidiani”, she’s funny, barely have expressions in her face and her voice is sometimes like a man. LOL, a very unique friend indeed

And there were these 2 girls (Andin and Dara) from Al Izhar, they don’t hang out in senior high but in SGU.. they’re like stamps and envelope. VERY INSEPARABLE. They’re taking Food Tech and GLAD that i’m in the same class with them for the first year! hahaha GO LIFE SCIENCE 1-A

Andin is androginy, she’s tall (or I am too short), hillarious, freak,  and she is VERY AWESOME ON SAXOPHONES. Gosh Andin ur smile ‘melts’ me HAHAHA (sorry). She’s the type thats carefree and FUN FUN FUN. Nice to still hang out with you, Purwasih

Meanwhile Dara is not tall. Typical height like mine, huehehe. She is also a freak, HILLARIOUS and weird. She laughs EASILY, maybe low standards of humour. HAHAHAHA. She’s the place to share stroies, love stories. And she has the latest goss, well Andin too.. hihi

The abroad friends, and maybe ‘foreigners that I hung out with were Maria Javaid and Melissa Lumbantoruan. Maria is pretty, tall, not so talkative but she’s kind. Has humour and she’s alwaaays with Melissa. hahahah

Meanwhile Melissa is CRAZY, she is LOUD hahaha and very hillarious indeed… Her accent is very american but she’s very batak too you know.

Another one was Olivia, she’s pale white, very skinny but somehow her cheeks are a bit chubby. LOL

she’s awesome

And the rest of the group were JUST AWESOME TOO!! But i can’t write them down one by one, hahaha.. I thanks you guys for making my first week in SGU awesome
